Making people laugh is second nature to Chris “Sweet Home” Bartlett. He had lots of practice, growing up in the Midwest in a boisterous, Italian family. At the dinner table the person with the loudest voice or funny story usually got the most attention, and Chris was never at a loss for words.
His routine is a mix of self-deprecating humor and anecdotes from everyday life. He doesn’t have to go far to hone material – lively family gatherings and holiday parties are ripe with material for stand up.
Born in the Midwest in Cincinnati, Ohio, Chris’ heart is in the deep South. He went to college in Alabama and fell in love with the Southern hospitality. He says there is no friendliness like that of the South and would eventually like to relocate there.
